On 23th Oct 2017, Saint-Gobain China held the 2017 China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Roadshow – Meet the Future session，together with Caohejing Science Park.
9 projects from different sectors, such as AI recognizing, public health, robot vision, vacuum glass are invited to the roadshow, covering from building industry to Internet of Things. The jury composed of industry experts, and famous investors commented and evaluated the projects. As for the prizes, except the cash bonus as part of the venture fund provided by Saint-Gobain, some winners will be invited to join the 2018 Saint-Gobain Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit in Paris.
The final best award went to Markscoding’s jet robot project, Share++ system project and AI thermoelectric infrared sensors project have been awarded as outstanding projects.
On the same occasion, Javier Gimeno, General Delegate for Saint-Gobain in Asia-Pacific, and Han Baofu, Chairman of Caohejing Science Park Science and Technology Center, unveiled the Saint-Gobain & CHJ Cross Boarder New Materials Accelerator. Javier Gimeno announced on the ceremony: “In the near future, Saint-Gobain will work closely with Caohejing Science Park to boost our open innovation, to better support and grow together with start-ups in China”.
