Global Alliance for Building and Construction for climate change

On December 3, Pierre-André de Chalendar, Chairman and Chief Executive officer of Saint-Gobain, addressed the delegations of the participating countries at COP21, the international climate conference, as part of Building Day.

In partnership with the World Green Building Council, he reminded the delegates that the best way to keep climate change below 2 °C is to improve the energy efficiency of buildings. Saint-Gobain was one of the first signatories of the Global Alliance for Building and Construction, which was launched on this occasion by Ségolène Royal, the French Minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy。
